The biotopical distribution, size and age structure of the population, nocturnal activity rhythm feeding mottled scorpion (Mesobuthus eupeus) were studied. research was conducted on left bank Pirsagat river (Shirvan plain, Istern Azerbaijan). All discovered individuals scorpions divided into 5 groups by length metasome. distribution had a pronounced aggregated character with formation local clusters (settlements) in which types ratios identified. It found that II I have unimodal, III IV bimodal, V group trimodal activity. As increases, breadth nutrition spectrum intensity decreases. index electivity negative values, from to for some taxa preys positive values. Representatives orders Isopoda (Crustacea), Aranei (Arachnida), Hymenoptera Lepidoptera (Insecta) play leading role all size- groups. proportion members Hymenoptera, Blattodea Collembola their diet Coleoptera Orthoptera are noted Pulmonata (Gastropoda), Lumbricidae (Oligochaeta), Scolopendromorpha (Chilopoda), Solifugae (Arachnida) present only

Mesobuthus eupeus (Scorpiones: Buthidae)

The gross anatomy of the nervous system of Bothriurus bonariensis (L. C. Koch, 1842). (Scorpiones, Bothriuridae).

The nervous system of the order Scorpiones appears to have a common organizational structure. The combination of an anatomical study using methylene blue as the contrast medium together with a histological analysis using hematoxylin-eosin and Heindenhain's iron hematoxylin techniques permitted the identification of a large number of nerves in B. bonariensis. Many of these are also present in a ...
